Roleplay Rules

We are going to start off with a few basic rules here, more may be added as necissary.

1: How it works. Roleplay is based off of you being your character, this means you need to write out your actions, your speach some even like to decorate it with their thoughts. Whatever your style make it so the rest of us can read and understand what you mean.

2. Detail. Details are important, no one wants to play with someone who puts no effort into their work.

Bad Example:

She walked over there. "Hi"

Good Example:

She peered over at the individual that had spoken to her, moving across the floor she paused a bare foot infront of him, offering a small smile she spoke, her voice comming out in a soft lilt. "Hello, what brings you here today"

The difference is obvious one gives us details, tells us more and helps us get a feel for the person we are playing with aswell as their character. Take your time no one is going to bitch at you because you took an extra 5 or 10 minutes to write a proper response.

3: Metagaming. It's simple don't do it. If you don't know what it is, it is the act of taking information you have out of character that your character does not and would not know and having them automatically know and act on said information.

4: Godmoding. Definately don't do it. If you are caught godmoding you will be warned. If you do not stop you will be removed from the RP.

5: OOC. Keep the OOC chatter to a minimum in the RP thread, there is a forum for discussing the RP's OOC aswell as general chatting and goofing around. Sometimes its needed and is convient just to make your comments in the thread but dont disrupt the flow.
